Hello friends! Jennifer here to share another layout I created with the December Main Kit! This kit has many papers and embellishments from Maggie Holmes' Shine collection which is one of my favorites! I am loving the fun colors of this kit!
I used one of the Shine Glitter Word Thickers for my title. I also added a cute gold pennant sticker also from Shine.
One of the best embellishments of this kit is the full package of wood veneer shapes/words from Shine! I used this cute wood frame with patterned paper and more stickers from Crate Paper! Also included in the kit is a full sheet of letter stickers from Elle's Studio!
I used a cut file from The Cut Shoppe and backed each row with different patterns from the kit. Also you can see more of the cute stickers from Shine, as well as another wood veneer shape.

More layering of some of the lovely papers! I added this cute paper clip pennant from the Add On Kit. You can also spy coordinating enamel dots that are from the Wonder collection.
For the bottom half of my page, I used a cut file from the Silhouette shop. I added circles from different patterns as well as added brads from Simple Stories and more enamel dots. I also love the mini gold sequins!

Hello friends! Jennifer here to share a layout I created with the June May kit! Hello! Jennifer here to share a layout I created with this month's Main kit! Ria has put together another winner with beautiful papers from Crate Paper, My Mind's Eye, and Jen Hadfield for Pebbles!
For my background, I used a fun cut file created by design team member, Sherri Funk!
I layered a few of the acetate pieces from the Maggie Holmes Confetti Ephemera Pack by Crate Paper under my photo. My title is from the Celebrate Chipboard Thickers pack which includes fun words as well as numbers!
Using a circle punch, I added in various patterned papers to some of the circles as well as a few of the gold Maggie Holmes Confetti enamel shapes!
Included in the main kit are an entire pack of On Trend sticker sheets from My Mind's Eye! That means 5 sheets of cuteness! I added this "Happy" tab to the top of my photo and layered it with a gold accent acetate from Maggie Holmes' Confetti collection.
More chipboard loveliness from Crate Paper as well as a pennant sticker from On Trend. Also you can spy the gold and blue paper from Jen Hadfield! Love all of the gold accents!
I love these acetate pennants from Maggie Holmes' Confetti line! I placed them at the top of my page and then stitched through.

I love that when Ria puts together a themed kit, it's still general enough to use for an everyday page. The February kit was perfect for a layout of Davis' first time skating.
I always love all the bits and pieces Ria adds, and this month was no exception. Here are a few closeups.
So much fun, right? I have LOVED this month's kit, it's probably my favorite kit so far. Thanks for stopping by the blog!
Meet my in-laws. It's rare to get a photo of them together, as mom is always bustling around in the kitchen, and dad is usually puttering away with one thing or another.
We recently enjoyed a family vacation in Orlando Florida and invited these two to join us. My favourite thing about vacationing with them is watching them play with our girls. Life is moving fast, and it won't be long before those times are over. So glad I captured this photo as we were traveling on the train ride through Busch Gardens it was perfect for this month's kit.
My favourite thing about this month's colour combo was the hint of mint green among the pinks and creams. It's a colour I use to avoid, but have discovered how much I really like it, even in clothing.
I often hear people say they have a difficult time with layering. I'll admit I can remember when I use to feel the same way. The way I learned was simply to lift examples of others. I may not have had all the same papers or embellishments, but I would mimic their patterns with what I had on hand. These two shots are a pretty good example of how to begin trying your hand at layering. For the above photo I mounted my photo and then layered it on top of another piece of patterned paper that I cut just slightly bigger than my photo and placed just off to the right a bit, so it wouldn't be perfectly centred behind my photo. Next I grabbed one of the die cut tags from the kit and sandwiched it between my mounted photo and the small piece of patterned paper. Then I added that gorgeous puffy heart and tucked one of the stickers from the Kiss, Kiss sticker sheet between the two. See, pretty easy.
For this cluster, I simply grabbed my sticker sheet and went to work tucking here and there, and using 3D foam adhesive for dimension. In my opinion 3D foam adhesive is the best product for helping to build layers and create dimension on your layouts. It's one item I am always running out of.
In order to balance out the amount of green I used on this layout I added just a touch of pink stitching to my layered label stickers. Doing this also helped me to create my visual triangle which will always ensure there is visual balance to your layout. (The brush script circles cut file is a freebie I downloaded by the ever so talented Nicole Nowosad)
