I don't know about you guys, but I love scrapping everyday moments. A flash of a smile from the kids, a random coffee treat, just hanging out together. It can be anything. These are the moments I will look back on years from now and get the warm fuzzies over how full our lives were. Here's a couple of those moments documented with the October kit..
Thanks for letting me share some work with you today. I can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with. These kits are fantastic!
Today we are sharing our October sketch challenge. Kristine has provided us with a fabulous sketch, and our design team has some amazing projects to share with you. We'd love for you to create a project based on sketch, and you could win a $10 gift certificate to the Paper Camellia shop. Just link up your project in the comments, or upload it to our gallery here.
Here are some layouts created by our talented design team.
We can't wait to see what you create with the sketch, good luck!

Brenda here bringing you a little something different today. I decided to step outside the box and make a layout with the beautiful stuff in the Everyday Life kit. All the little paper bits and the frames were perfect for this "grid" like layout.
I think this vacation is one of my favorites so far. We were able to stay in a little condo (trailer converted to a vacation cabin) within walking distance to the beach in South Carolina. This beach is so different from the west coast and even Texas. We hit it just right a few times and go there before almost everyone else and were able to enjoy the coastline basically to ourselves. The kids even learned to use their boogy boards.
This summer has been a good one. So many memories to scrap and put in my albums. I hope yours has been just as fantastic.
The August Scrapbook kit was the perfect partner for scrapping our summer moments. I just love when the color palette and embellishments compliment the seasons photos so well. Here are the last two pages I made with the kit..
I hope your summer is winding up nicely and that you're finding time to scrap with these glorious kits!
Want to scream, "it's summer!" on a page like I did? What better thing to reach for than bright and beautiful sunshine? I have a little girl who basically turned into a fish this summer. When I saw this patterned paper I knew I had to use it for her pool photos.
I sewed some rays and clustered some embellishments and, viola! This layout came together in a snap! Don't you love it when that happens? Pages like this make me happy... like a full, sunshiny day at the pool. Ah summer, soak it up while you can.
Good morning! I am a huge fan of sketches and this layout happens to be based on the sketch from this month. You can go HERE to take a look at a couple different takes on it. Let's take a look at my sketch and how changed it up a bit.
You can from the above photos that I flipped the sketch and had the heaviness over to the right instead of the left. I did feel that I needed an anchor and added paper to the left side for balance.
I painted the wood veneer dark blue to help bring in the dark blue letters that are available in the scrapbooking kit.
I also interpreted the sketch onto a card. For this card, I left the heaviness to the left. The card is pretty simple but still very cute to send to a friend.
