This girl, Flo is always within 3 feet of me.
I can not go anywhere without her near. This is what happens when I lay on the couch........
For this layout, I used only the Main Scrapbooking kit. The small strip of hearts were all connected and outlined in white. I fussy cut them out for random embellishments around my page.
Thank you for taking a peel at my layout. See you again real soon.
Hello everyone! I have a minimal 8 1/2 by 11 layout for you.
From the second I opened this kit I knew I was going to need to use it as a full background. I didn't want to take away from the paper too much so I just made a nice minimally scrapped page. This is actually one of my favorite ways to create pages.
I loved the alphas that came with the main scrapbook kit this time as well. That larger scripty word set is so fun. It was fun to put it on the page in a little bit up a scrunched up shape. Almost as though it was hand written.
With all the different colors and patterns I had going on I wanted to keep the photo from getting lost on the page. The original photo had all different shades of pink with that blown out background. It sort of blended into the pinks and the green vellum. Making it black and white helped it to pop. Adding a white and gold frame draws your eye right to it.
Thank you for stopping by to have a look! Have a lovely day!
Hey everyone, Amy here to share a layout I created using the October kit and add on. I may have already scrapbooked this picture, but it's one of my favorites and it was perfect for the stickers in the add on. Here's my layout.
Here are some closeups of all the fun bits.
It was such a fun kit and the embellishments are definitely some of my favorites I've used!
Make sure to check out all the other fabulous work from the design team using this great kit.
Happy Monday! Jennifer here today to share a layout I created using the goodies from October's Main Kit. I love how the colors from My Mind's Eye "My Story" and Dear Lizzy's "Documentary" go so well together!
The Dear Lizzy Snapshot Word Thickers are one of my favorite embellishments from the kit! I chose the word "Wish" for my title as well as added a star at the top of my page. I think the black really "pops" against the more muted colors of the papers!
You also receive a mixed bag of ephemera from MME's "My Story" collection! I layered a few of the pieces at the top of my photo. You can also spy some enamel hearts and triangles from Pink Paislee's Memorandum line! Love the little tidbits of gold!
I used the pink letter stickers from Elle's Studio on the side of my photo and stitched through. I love how the color compliments the pinks in the patterned papers! I added some paint splatters as well as black enamel dots from my stash.
The Main Kit also has yellow and pink ribbon included in your embellishments! I added a snip of the pink to one of the Memorandum gold frames!
Thanks for stopping by today! You can check out all of October's kits by visiting the Paper Camellia shop
! Have a wonderful day!
I don't know about you guys, but I love scrapping everyday moments. A flash of a smile from the kids, a random coffee treat, just hanging out together. It can be anything. These are the moments I will look back on years from now and get the warm fuzzies over how full our lives were. Here's a couple of those moments documented with the October kit..
Thanks for letting me share some work with you today. I can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with. These kits are fantastic!
Good morning, Mary-Ann
here this morning with a layout based on this months sketch. I have to tell you that I really need a sketch this month. I have had hardly any time to create lately. Sometimes, I just need that little bit of a nudge!
This layout is of my son and I. I had just turned 43 and decided I needed a new hair-do. So I cut it all off! He looks thrilled!
Here is a reminder of how cool the sketch is and how easy it is to use it as a jump start!
Thanks for taking a look and see you again soon.
Good morning. Mary-Ann
here, sharing a layout I created using the Main Scrapbooking kit as well as the July 2015 Embellishment Add-on kit. I went outside me comfort zone for this layout today. I got so excited about the blues and reds (well, pink that kinda looks red!) I started with a bold print for my background paper. This is completely different than my usual softer tone background. Lets take a look.
You can see in the photos below, I did not skimp on adding embellishments. I had so much fun with all the little bits and pieces.
Come back daily for more DT inspiration. I'll see you next week!
