I Am Mini Book

Posted on March 18, 2015 by

Hello everyone! Jennifer here on the blog today to share a mini album I created using this month's
Embellishment Add-On  kit!  I used one of the accordion files in the I Am Interactive Elements and cut it into three pages.

I then adhered one of the small interactive tags to the front of my book. I added a doily from my stash and a cute chipboard flower from the My Mind's Eye On Trend 12x12 Chipboard sheet.
I used the "I Am" Sentiment stickers for each page with a favorite scripture. I wanted to make a little book to remind myself to see me as God does.
I used the cover of the matchbook Interactive Element to create a flap and added a cute gold heart chipboard piece from On Trend.

Loving the gold stickers from I Am, as well as the little flowers.  I also added another chipboard piece from the 12x12 On Trend sheet.
Here are a few more close ups of my page!

Thank you for stopping by today! Check out the Add-on Kits for this month, as well as sneaks of April's kit!  Have a great day!

I am | Mini Album Part 1

Posted on March 05, 2015 by

Are you all in love with the March kits like I am?  Seriously!  Every piece from these kits just called to me.  They are absolute perfection.

Now, I had never really thought to do an album about me till now.  I have seen these beautiful albums where amazing women have put together albums all about the things they love, see, do and feel.  Right now seems to be the perfect time for me to pour my heart into this kind of project.  You see, life is a bit upside down in our household right now.  In truth, I am tired, stressed and a little bit worn out.  A large move across the country plus the knowledge that everything is going to change has me feeling a little less, well, me.  This pretty album was just the right ticket to remind me that I am who I am, no matter what is going on in my life.  So here you are.  Ready to have a look at who I am? what and who I love?

Today I am going to share the cover, first page and first spread.

Tune in next time for another spread or two all about my love for coffee and silly selfies. (ok, so I don't like selfies but I think my kids will appreciate them.  So I suffer.  *hehe)

December Days Christmas Countdown Mini Part Two!

Posted on November 13, 2014 by

Hello everyone! I'm back to share the remainder of my mini album I created with the December Days Kit!  This kit is full of beautiful Christmas papers and fun tidbits that are perfect for your project! If you missed my post from last week, you can click here

The mixture of prints with the traditional red and green Christmas colors create the perfect color palette!  The kit includes papers from Pink Paislee, My Mind's Eye, and Teresa Collins Designs.
By the way, I am in love with the White Wood Grain cardstock from American Crafts!  Did you know you can order it from the Paper Camellia shop?
The 4x6 Simple Stories DIY cards are perfect as extra pages in your mini book! I adhered two together to create a page.
The Merry and Bright Ephemera pack from Pink Paislee has so much to choose from! Here, I paired some of the Christmas bells with a snowflake enamel shape and button from Teresa Collin Designs.

I used the 3x4 Simple Stories DIY cards to hold my photo or some journaling.  I also added some chipboard pennants from Teresa Collins Designs as well as the American Crafts Journal Glitter Thickers.
The December Days kit includes exclusive flair buttons! I added one at the corner of my page with a glitter snowflake from Pink Paislee!
I love the wood grain print from My Mind's Eye!  And you can spy the cute fabric bow from Pink Paislee (each kit you receive three!).

Thank you for stopping by today!  Be sure to check out the December Days kit, as well as be on the look out for sneak peeks of next month's kit!  Have a wonderful day!

December Days Countdown to Christmas Mini

Posted on November 06, 2014 by

Hi friends! I hope you have been enjoying all of the fun projects by our team and guest designers showcasing the December Days Kit! Today, I am sharing a portion of a mini album I created as my "December Daily" for this year. I am loving all of the beautiful prints and small embellishments to create with!

I combined a few of the patterned papers with one of the Simple Stories DIY Christmas SNAP 3x4 cards along with pieces from the Pink Paislee "Merry and Bright" Ephemera.  For my title, I used the DIY Christmas sticker words and Journal Black Glitter Thickers  by American Crafts.

The December Days kit includes *exclusive* flair and wooden veneer words!  Here, I used the "Joy" wooden veneer with an assortment of die cut trees from the Merry and Bright Ephemera pack.

The kit also includes beautiful Christmas papers by Teresa Collins and My Mind's Eye!

For one of my pages, I cut a page protector and added sequins and wooden veneer stars and stitched around the edges. I then added a cute Glitter Word Sticker from Pink Paislee.

Thank you for stopping by today!  I hope this gives you some early Christmas inspiration! Come back next week to see the rest of my book!  And don't forget to check out the Paper Camellia kits for this and next month!
Have a great day!

"Boy Oh Boy" Mini Book

Posted on April 06, 2014 by

Hi everyone!  Ria on the blog today with a real treat. Our own Becki Adams has created an adorable mini book using our "Boy Oh Boy" Add-On kit.  Perfect for documenting your little one's adventures.

Becki used the painted wood veneer pieces from Crate Paper as a key element on the cover and throughout out the mini book.

Layers of pattern papers and embellishments make these pages fun and easy.

The cork stars very full sticker sheet make embellishing the pages a snap.

We hope you have enjoyed this fun project from Becki. We still have a few of the "Boy Oh Boy" Add-on kits available. So go HERE if you want to get yours.

Love You Mini Book

Posted on March 05, 2014 by

Hi Paper Camellia fans, Amy here to share with you a mini album I made using the fabulous March kits. I must admit, I usually stick to layouts or cards, but the fun colors and all the wonderful embellishments in the kit made this mini super easy to make. I had a Maya Road Tag Album just waiting to be used, so that's what I used for the album and the rest of the products are from the March kits.
Here's the album:

As you can see, this album is just about some of my favorite things about my sweet family. I did a page for each person.

As you can see, I used some cut files from the Silhouette Store to decorate the page opposite each person's photo. I love how this turned out, and am excited to do more mini albums in the future.

Thanks for dropping by the blog!

December All Wrapped Up! by Becki Adams

Posted on November 26, 2013 by

On the blog today we have a fun chipboard mini book by Becki Adams. Becki used our December Days kit to create this fun and easy project.

Multiple pieces of the Pink Paislee ephemera pack and gold accents set the tone for the front cover.

More pattern layering and a mix of the embellishments, and a confetti pocket.

Gold accents! The washi tape adds a touch of gold anywhere and the gold glitter letters look great against the chalk paper.

Tags, stars, enamel dots and more gold mix to create more layers and texture.

The Basic Grey Capture Snippets book in the kit offers so many options for journaling and photo mattes. And the Jillibean wise words are always so versatile.

I just love how Becki used the gold glitter letters on the red background. And the chalk paper and white marker make all the reds pop!

And everyones favorite element from this kit..."the gold reindeer" makes an appearance on this fun page celebrating another holiday favorite...the holiday movie marathon!

Thank you for stopping by the blog today. We hope you are inspired to grab a kit and make a lovely holiday mini book of your own.

Don't forget our "Why Wait for Black Friday" sale is going on now through November 30th and all kits are 30% off. Just use code WHYWAIT to get your discount and start creating!
