I was procrastinating on the last of the packing. Can you tell? It was hard to not just drop everything and play with the kids and take photos of things I wanted to remember. This was our first home. The only home our kids had known. The floor with its dings and stains. The funky front windows. The bed in my room where Kaitlyn would hang out and play while I worked. Of course we had to make one more tent in the living room and gather one more bunch of weeds. I think the impending move was catching up to Kaitlyn. She had a rough day this week. How better to feel better than to be silly.
I love how the bold colors and patterns balance so well with the softer tones in some of the cards here. It has a nice flow coming down the page from top to bottom. The "receipt" card from the Everyday Life kit is my favorite card from the whole kit. I had been hording it till I got to this page.

June kits are almost here. Look for the next round of challenges coming your way next week!
Every once in a while I get the urge to create on a smaller canvas, and pull together bunches of my favourite elements and layer away.
This guy is my favourite guy in the whole world and pages with him in them always come together quickly. I really do think it's a gift we give our kids when we document the relationship we have with their father. Years from now they will be realize that we were more than just parents to them, but friends also, people who actually enjoyed spending time together doing things other than cooking, cleaning, and driving them where they need to be.
I chose to document my journaling on a tag that I've tucked behind my photo cluster.
The clear Amy Tangerine stickers are so versatile, I love how they look so much like real doodling. When it comes to dressing up a page, I'm all about clustering embellishments in various sizes. I hope you've been encouraged to get using all those embellishments that Ria has packed into this months kit. Who's to say only a few will do you? That's it for my May kits projects, just wait until you see what's in store for June. Only a few more days to go. Be sure to check back right here.
Good morning Paper Camellia friends. Mary-Ann
here with you today. I am sharing a layout from some older photos that I found while scrummaging through old files. It is amazing what we capture of our children when they are small. It seems like as they get older, the less the camera comes out. Anyway, these are of my boy during his pirate phase. Everything and anything can be an eye patch.
This layout is completed only using the add-on kit that is available along with an addition of one piece of white cardstock, sequins, paint and pearl pens. Common pieces that we all have lying around our craft spaces!
We are creeping up on June - wait until you see next month, it is sure to bring you joy!
I am in major love with squares right now. Wether it's piecing papers or scrapping Instagram after Instagram, they're something that can be spotted on every page I make. Check out the two layouts below and see what I mean!
How about you, are you digging the square look?
Good morning! Happy Memorial Weekend to all of you in the US. Today I am here with another page from March this year. This was just a little bit before we packed up the rest of our things and headed to Virginia. I wanted to go out one more time to get photos in our favorite photo locations. These walls have so much character, much like my daughters. haha
The bottom two photos are at our house. It was warm enough already to run in the sprinkler so we did. Kaitlyn drew on the mirror one more time too. It was a little tradition that when the mirror fogged we all wrote something to daddy for the next day. It's a little silly thing but meant the world to them.
I think my favorite parts of this months kit were the Cienna stickers from Elle's and the Amy Tangerine epoxy stickers. So many little pieces on just two sheets. I may have used them on every page.
So that takes care of week two-ish for March. Thank you for having a look!

Hello friends! Jennifer here today to share another layout created with this month's awesome Main and Add-On Kits! The mixture of papers from Amy Tangerine's Rise and Shine and Elle's Studio's Cienna collections go so well together! I am loving the blues and pinks!
For my title, I used one of the Amy Tangerine Rise & Shine Grace Gold word Thickers found in the Main Kit. And from the Add-On Kit, is one of the cute Fancy Pants Designs' Office Suite Flair Buttons! To accent, I added a couple of the enamel shapes from My Mind's Eye On Trend which is one of the Main Kit embellishments!
I cut out one of the snippets from the Elle's Studio "You Are" sheet from the Add-On kit and added two of the Office Suite Labels, as well as an enamel dot and washi tape from my stash.
I love the Elle's Studio Wood Veneer Shapes found in the Main Kit! The are a cute addition to accent your page! Here, I used the "precious" tab with more My Mind's Eye Enamel Shapes!
Thank you for stopping by today! This month has lot of fun add on kits so be sure to check out the Paper Camellia shop to order yours!
