Hi, It’s Veera here today to show you my last layout with October kits. In this layout I wanted to use a bit lighter colors.
This layout is put together mainly using just embellishments. The stickers and chipboards from the embellishment add-on kit were perfect and helped to pull this layout together in less than 15 minutes.
The topic of this layout is a DIY camera strap I made myself. The camera sticker from Dear Lizzy was a perfect embellishment for this layout.
I hope you liked my layouts this month!
Hello, it’s Veera here today to show you a layout I made with October main scrapbook kit and embellishment add-on. I really loved My Mind’s Eye’s colorful pattern paper so I definitely wanted to use that on one of my layouts. As the pattern is so bold I wanted to balance that with white background.
The design of this layout includes two triangles: One from pattern paper and one from embellishments and picture. Together these create an interesting design.
One of the main embellishments on this layout is a heart I cut from the pattern paper. That paper is so versatile: you can cut so many interesting shapes from it!
Have you got your kits already?
This girl, Flo is always within 3 feet of me.
I can not go anywhere without her near. This is what happens when I lay on the couch........
For this layout, I used only the Main Scrapbooking kit. The small strip of hearts were all connected and outlined in white. I fussy cut them out for random embellishments around my page.
Thank you for taking a peel at my layout. See you again real soon.
Hello everyone! I have a minimal 8 1/2 by 11 layout for you.
From the second I opened this kit I knew I was going to need to use it as a full background. I didn't want to take away from the paper too much so I just made a nice minimally scrapped page. This is actually one of my favorite ways to create pages.
I loved the alphas that came with the main scrapbook kit this time as well. That larger scripty word set is so fun. It was fun to put it on the page in a little bit up a scrunched up shape. Almost as though it was hand written.
With all the different colors and patterns I had going on I wanted to keep the photo from getting lost on the page. The original photo had all different shades of pink with that blown out background. It sort of blended into the pinks and the green vellum. Making it black and white helped it to pop. Adding a white and gold frame draws your eye right to it.
Thank you for stopping by to have a look! Have a lovely day!
Happy Monday! Jennifer here today to share a layout I created using the goodies from October's Main Kit. I love how the colors from My Mind's Eye "My Story" and Dear Lizzy's "Documentary" go so well together!
The Dear Lizzy Snapshot Word Thickers are one of my favorite embellishments from the kit! I chose the word "Wish" for my title as well as added a star at the top of my page. I think the black really "pops" against the more muted colors of the papers!
You also receive a mixed bag of ephemera from MME's "My Story" collection! I layered a few of the pieces at the top of my photo. You can also spy some enamel hearts and triangles from Pink Paislee's Memorandum line! Love the little tidbits of gold!
I used the pink letter stickers from Elle's Studio on the side of my photo and stitched through. I love how the color compliments the pinks in the patterned papers! I added some paint splatters as well as black enamel dots from my stash.
The Main Kit also has yellow and pink ribbon included in your embellishments! I added a snip of the pink to one of the Memorandum gold frames!
Thanks for stopping by today! You can check out all of October's kits by visiting the Paper Camellia shop
! Have a wonderful day!
Good morning, Mary-Ann
here this morning with a layout based on this months sketch. I have to tell you that I really need a sketch this month. I have had hardly any time to create lately. Sometimes, I just need that little bit of a nudge!
This layout is of my son and I. I had just turned 43 and decided I needed a new hair-do. So I cut it all off! He looks thrilled!
Here is a reminder of how cool the sketch is and how easy it is to use it as a jump start!
Thanks for taking a look and see you again soon.
Hello friends! Jennifer on the blog today to share my last layout using the September Main and Add On Kits! This page is full of Simple Stories' So Fancy goodies such as the chipboard frames and self adhesive brads! I created a sort of grid layout using patterns from So Fancy as well as Crate Paper's Wonder collection.
I adhered this multi-colored chipboard frame from So Fancy around the subject in my photo (my cute niece riding her bike without training wheels!). :) This is a great way to focus on your main picture....especially if you have a busy page!
I used another chipboard frame on top of a cute pattern from Wonder as well as added one of the Wonder Chipboard Thickers.
Showing some of the Wonder Ephemera and coordinating stickers that I stitched to two of the patterns from Crate Paper.
I adhered more patterned papers and accented with Wonder cardstock stickers as well as a cute brad from Simple Stories.
Thank you for stopping by! Check back tomorrow to the shop to get your hands on September and October kits! Have a great day!
