For my last layout for April I am featuring my girls and the ferret. The two brighten up my world so much. They are sisters so it is never perfect but they love each other so much. I adore when I catch them playing nicely together or whispering secrets to each other.
This layout was kept very simple. There is a lot going on in the photos and too much "fluff" would have made it seem cluttered. Now, the focus is on the photos.
The softer colors and florals worked perfectly here as well. The 3 photos of my youngest were more muted while the bottom two photos were more bright. I was actually worried about placing these on the same page and even considered putting them on a smaller protector with each on their own side. In the end I am glad I kept them on the same page. It really makes their differing personalities shine.

So don't be afraid to use your busy photos or photos with different lighting and mood together. Just keep things simple and let the focus stay on your beautiful memories.

Hello! Brenda here again with another of my April pages.
This spread is about the kids first day back to school. This time it was a new school. In a new state. With all new teachers and classmates. I am so proud of my kids for being so resilient and not worrying about starting all over. In fact, I think they were a bit excited. Of course Kaitlyn was a little unhappy with this. She hugged her brother and sister several times before they got on the bus and cried when they left. She waited for our neighbor to some outside and ran to see her. I am so happy for wonderful neighbors.
I just LOVE these pretty butterflies from the Citrus Bliss Puffy Stickers by Pink Paislee.

That is all for this time. Have a wonderful day!
Hi, It’s Veera here today to share a layout featuring 10 photos and a lot of journaling. The inspiration for this layout came from the Dear Lizzy Fine & Dandy Number paper clips that were included in the June Embellishment add-on kit. I wanted to create a list of some sort and as I’m eagerly waiting for our next vacation I decided to create a travel log of our recent trips.
Behind the paper clips I layered circles that were cut from the Pink Paislee’s patterned paper. As I wanted the journaling to be the main focus of this layout I created a banner from the pictures. This way I was able to include all my favorite travel photos to one layout.
I only added a few carefully selected embellishments as I didn’t want to make the layout look too busy.
A bit unusual layout for me but I like the outcome! What is your record when it comes to number of pictures in one layout? 10 pictures is it for me!
Well hello! Brenda here with some more Everyday Life inspiration. I am moving right along with my 2015 album. This week I have some of April to share with you. These are photos from our first few days of really enjoying our new home. We got outside and played. The kids went door to door looking for new friends. Yep, my 7 year old literally went around knocking on our neighbors doors asking if they had any kids that wanted to come out and play. haha She is not shy at all.
I love the little bits of pretty pink with my favorite grey and blue in this kit. I used just the main everyday life kit for these. It is so pretty but had enough blue and neutral bits that I could still scrap a photo of my boy.
Thank you for stopping by! Have a great week.
