Happy Wednesday! How much are you LOVING this I AM line? I love that the kits coordinate so well together. Kind of takes the guesswork out of the process!
Normally, I start the foundation of my work on textured white cardstock, but I decided to go with black for this one. I LOVE how it turned out. It's unexpected, but the gold elements really come to the forefront!
I decided I wanted all the little bits in the kit on the layout somewhere and after I clustered
I hope you had fast fingers and were able to get your hands on this kit.
Be ready, April's kit is right around the corner!
I hope you are LOVING all of the I AM kit projects from the Design Team because I sure am!
I feel like this photo deserved something special and I was so happy when I pulled it out and used it for this layout/line. My best friend and I had just completed the Warrior Dash Obstacle Course/Mud Run and it was definitely an experience for the books!
This page has a ton of gold elements worked into it and everything that you see is in the kit aside from the Gold HS Shimmer.
The kits from Paper Camellia have really simplified the process for me. It's so easy to sit down and finish a few layouts in one sitting because everything is coordinated. Make it easy on yourself! April kits are just around the corner and will have MORE embellishment and add-on kits than EVER!!
Be sure to have your fast fingers ready to get yourself one of each!! You'll be happy you did!
Where do I begin with this month's kit? It's perfect. It's lovely. Kind of like YOU, right?
I took a class at a scrapbooking convention about 15 years ago from Angie Pedersen. She wrote "The Book of Me" and I read that book from cover to cover and even took notes. I promptly started my "Book of Me." It has a handful of pages that very accurately describe me at that time. I'll bet that most of it hasn't changed, but that's as far as I got.
Now, fast forward many years I am putting myself in my books more and more. This month's kit makes it so easy to find a starting point. The lines featured in this kit coordinate so well that it makes me want to sit down and take time to tell MY story, our story. It's definitely feminine and full of gold and pastel accents, but it also has its' share of hard lines to offset the softness. My boys make sure I know every day how much I am loved. I pulled these photos for this project and it all just came together beautifully and easily.
Everyone has their own reasons why they memory
Now is as good a time as any, the BEST time really, and here at your fingertips is the perfect start to YOUR lovely "Book of Me."
Get your hands on this kit before it's sold out!
Are you all in love with the March kits like I am? Seriously! Every piece from these kits just called to me. They are absolute perfection.
Now, I had never really thought to do an album about me till now. I have seen these beautiful albums where amazing women have put together albums all about the things they love, see, do and feel. Right now seems to be the perfect time for me to pour my heart into this kind of project. You see, life is a bit upside down in our household right now. In truth, I am tired, stressed and a little bit worn out. A large move across the country plus the knowledge that everything is going to change has me feeling a little less, well, me. This pretty album was just the right ticket to remind me that I am who I am, no matter what is going on in my life. So here you are. Ready to have a look at who I am? what and who I love?
Today I am going to share the cover, first page and first spread.
products used: Papers from the main kit, bits from the March add-on, pieces of the embellishment add-on
Tune in next time for another spread or two all about my love for coffee and silly selfies. (ok, so I don't like selfies but I think my kids will appreciate them. So I suffer. *hehe)
