Hello there! Elizabeth here to share my September projects with you. This month I found myself grabbing a sheet on plain white cardstock for every page. It serves as a great starting point and opens up the design possibilities. Mixing and matching lovely papers from the kits is one of the best parts of the process, in my opinion. Here's what I came up with...
Thanks for letting me share my work. Post up in the gallery with your pages and I'll take a peek at what you've been making. You all inspire me!
Is it just me or does summer already seem to be fleeting? It's crazy that we wait so long for it to get here (at least in Iowa we do) and then it just sneaks by so fast!
These boys of mine are so funny sometimes! If you see him don't tell him you saw this photo! I was obviously shopping for sunglasses and a handbag when this was taken. He asked me to turn around and when I did, this is what I saw! He's still in his soccer uniform, too!
I LOVE the lines that are in this kit this month. I always love the kits, but this lush Citrus Bliss line from Pink Paislee is just so fun to work with.
As always, please visit us here on the blog and on Facebook and make sure to upload your projects and layouts so we can see how you are using the Paper Camellia Kits! We'd LOVE to see your work!
Have a great day!
One thing I LOVE about Paper Camellia kits is the embellishments. It's fun to cluster them together on one layout... golden, wooden, glittery, chipboard.. Every last bit coordinates, making your pages look just plain fancy. See what I mean..
Thanks for stopping by! Happy Monday, hope you make some time to get fancy this week!
I am in major love with squares right now. Wether it's piecing papers or scrapping Instagram after Instagram, they're something that can be spotted on every page I make. Check out the two layouts below and see what I mean!
How about you, are you digging the square look?
Hello there everyone. I hope you're enjoying the beginning of Spring as much as I am! Elizabeth here today to share a quick and easy layout I made using the Main Scrapbook Kit and Add-on..
I love the way it looks to repeat the same word but with different elements. It creates variation in font and texture, which creates visual interest. I've also been springing to longer titles and less journaling lately.. which is awesome if you want to make something quick like this. The page took 30 minutes, start to finish.
How great are the add-ons this month? What kind of pages do you have planned? I can't wait to see more of what everyone is making in the gallery! Hop on over and join in the fun!
If you're looking for a quick way to get pages done, designing on a grid is where it's at. Just choose whatever shapes and sizes you want and think about the grid placement. I put mine off to the side to switch things up a bit (I tend to go for a more centered look, typically.) . Pair printed Instagrams with cut up patterned paper squares and you have your self a layout!
Well, almost. You may want to add a title, journaling, and some embellishments. Then, bam! Done!
Try it! You may be surprised at how easily these projects come together... and then you just may enjoy living on the grid for awhile!
