December Days - More embellishments

Posted on November 23, 2015 by

Hello there! SandrinEve here today to share little embellishments I created with the last pieces of paper from the December Days kit (except the white little tags). I don't know yet how I will use them : in my December album, in greetings cards? Perhaps you have other ideas?

I'm sure you still have some pieces of paper to create your own embellishments and customize your creations.

It was the last post with the December Days kit, I really enjoy sharing my pages with you and I hope you will have fun in this wonderful period of the year.

December Days - Foundation pages day 20 to 25

Posted on November 20, 2015 by

Hi ladies,

SandrinEve here today. Welcome to the last foundation pages of my December Days album. I hope you have enjoyed playing with the December days kit (and don't panic you still have time to create your pages until Christmas).

Once again I painted the wood word with gold.

The more Christmas approaches, the more I leave white space for the pictures.

Love this Hohoho wood veener.

Of course my album will evolve according to the pictures, the little things that I will keep or greeting cards I will receive. It will become THE holidays book of YOUR family. Create your own.

Wish you a beautiful December month.

December Days - Foundation pages day 16 to 20

Posted on November 13, 2015 by

Hi Paper Camellia fans,

Sandrine here today with my last post for this week. It's already mid november, time flies. Have you progressed in the creation of your december album? Let's have a look in others foundation pages from my album.

I'm hurry to add pictures in the white pockets.

This golden 4x6 card with snowflakes is so gorgeous.

I used a punch and cut three different patterned papers. Then I glued them on a transparent sheet and do the same on the other side. I like to have transparency in my album, it's funny to see and imagine the next page.

Have a good week-end and let's meet again in a few days.

December Days - Foundation pages day 11 to 15

Posted on November 11, 2015 by

Hello lovely Paper Camellia friends,

Sandrine here today sharing some more foundation pages from my December Days album.

As you can see, I leave many cards without embellishments because I want to add many pictures and journaling. It was sometimes difficult, everything is really beautiful in the kit and I wanted to use everything at once.

You can not see it easily on the picture but the "December" word is on a transparent sheet as a divider. I added the tiny stars stickers too.

With a twelve 2x2 page protector I created a Christmas tree : I cut several squares of patterned papers to form a triangle. To finish I slipped a painted gold star in the top pocket.

If you just start playing around, I hope you will have as much fun as me to use your December Days kit.

December Days - Foundation Pages Day 6 to 10

Posted on November 09, 2015 by

Hi Paper Camellia friends,

I'm very happy because it seems that you liked the December Days Kit, it is already sold out. That's right it is really amazing and it is filled with beautiful bits and pieces.

Have you started thinking about your December album? If this is not the case here are new foundations pages.

A very simple double page : a lot of green and a Christmas tree created with a number tag, patterned paper and a little wood star.

This tiny Santa Claus sticker takes my heart, I simply glued it on vellum and then on a red card.

Have you noticed the little Christmas tree in the bottom right? I created it with three gold chevron from the My Mind's Eye stickers sheet and add an acrylic star on the top.

One of my favorite page : a soft color combo with touch of gold.

Happy crafting with your December Days kit!

December Days Christmas Countdown Mini Part Two!

Posted on November 13, 2014 by

Hello everyone! I'm back to share the remainder of my mini album I created with the December Days Kit!  This kit is full of beautiful Christmas papers and fun tidbits that are perfect for your project! If you missed my post from last week, you can click here
The mixture of prints with the traditional red and green Christmas colors create the perfect color palette!  The kit includes papers from Pink Paislee, My Mind's Eye, and Teresa Collins Designs.
By the way, I am in love with the White Wood Grain cardstock from American Crafts!  Did you know you can order it from the Paper Camellia shop?
The 4x6 Simple Stories DIY cards are perfect as extra pages in your mini book! I adhered two together to create a page.
The Merry and Bright Ephemera pack from Pink Paislee has so much to choose from! Here, I paired some of the Christmas bells with a snowflake enamel shape and button from Teresa Collin Designs.
I used the 3x4 Simple Stories DIY cards to hold my photo or some journaling.  I also added some chipboard pennants from Teresa Collins Designs as well as the American Crafts Journal Glitter Thickers.
The December Days kit includes exclusive flair buttons! I added one at the corner of my page with a glitter snowflake from Pink Paislee!
I love the wood grain print from My Mind's Eye!  And you can spy the cute fabric bow from Pink Paislee (each kit you receive three!).
Thank you for stopping by today!  Be sure to check out the December Days kit, as well as be on the look out for sneak peeks of next month's kit!  Have a wonderful day!

Simple December Days

Posted on November 11, 2014 by

Today I want to share some more of the pages I made using the December Days kit. (You can see my other pages here.) I worked with pocket pages which are 6x8, and I adore the album Ria has on the site for purchase. In fact, you can grab some inserts there as well! I think 6x8 is a great size for documenting the season. It makes things easy breezy, which is a huge bonus when it comes to this time of year.

If you're hesitating on the whole December Days thing this is what I have to say to you... No one is saying that you have to document each day, or every little thing...the cool thing is just getting the season into an album. Capturing a little piece of that holiday magic. Comparing them from year to year is so fun. I love seeing how my children grow and our traditions evolve. It's all summed up in one cute little red and green (and glittery) place. It doesn't have to be this big, stressful project. It can be simple, and easy, and lovely.. and done!

I can't wait to see what you all make with this fantastic kit! Who's ready for the holidays?
