Hey everyone, thanks so much for all the comments during our team up with The Cut Shoppe. I hope you were inspired as much as I was. I combined all the comments and using the random number generator, came up with this winner who commented on my blog.
Anne, please contact us at info@papercamellia and we'll get your kit shipped right out to you!
We will be taking the rest of the week to enjoy the Holidays with our families, but I will be back December 29th to share one other layout I created using the December kit. We hope you enjoy the Holidays!
Hello everyone, it's me, Elizabeth. I'm sharing the last of my pocket pages from this months Everyday Life kit before I switch over to designing with the Scrapbook kit. I've had so much fun using these kits... I feel like whether I'm playing catch up or am right on task the supplies are an awesome fit. So, here are my pages.
For the second spread I included a few pieces of ephemera... A painting from my daughter, because all she wanted to do that week was paint. A note to my son from a girl (gasp! yes, he gave me permission to scrap it.) :)
I also included a journal card for each of my older two boys. I find it challenging to snap everyday photos of them because between school and work (and electronics) they just aren't "around" as much. Including these little update cards about them at least keeps them in the family mix in this album... yay for that!
So that's it! No more pocket pages for me! --totally kidding, after 3 years I am still addicted to pocket page, weekly scrapping.. so I'll still be doing those too.. I'll just mostly be sharing traditional scrapbook pages here. :) Let me tell you something, the January Scrapbook Kit is ga-ga-gorgeous. Yay for that too! Thanks for stopping by.
Hi everyone, Ria here today to share some beautiful layouts created by Stephanie Strader with our December main kit. But first have a winner from our Guest Designer Jamie Waters post earlier in the month. The winner of our December Add-On is...LYNNE RUDOLPH!
Lynne, please email us at email@example.com with your shipping information and we will get that kit right out to you! Congrats! Thank you all for taking the time to comment!
And now for some creative loveliness...Stephanie Strader is joining our Design team in 2015 and we couldn't be more thrilled. She had the opportunity to work with our December Main kit and once we saw her layouts we had to share.
Love how Stephanie took the December kit, with it's soft, washed pastel tones and make it look amazing with "Boy" pages.
We can't wait to share more of Stephanie's work with you in 2015!
Thank you visiting the blog today.
Hello everyone, it's me, Elizabeth. Today I'd like to share some traditional pages I created using the December Everyday Life kit. While I do love pocket page spreads, there is something so fun about taking these kits and finding fun ways to use the products on full layouts.
For "Flash" I grabbed this lovely sheet of patterned paper and cut it into strips.. my intention was originally to stitch between each rectangle, grid style. However once I placed them on the cardstock I realized they'd look awesome paired with a photo strip. I layered on embellishments and a title and I love the way it turned out. :)
Here are some close ups..
Here's a smaller page. For this one I used my scraps and those little strips at the top of the 6x6 patterned papers (you know, the ones with the holes in them that seem kinda un-usable?). I wove them into a photo mat. I love the way the colors compliment each other and create texture and visual interest.
A closer look...
Ok! That's my post for today. As always, I encourage you to use up every last bit of those gorgeous kits.. it's surprising sometimes just how far they can streeeeeetch across many types of pages!
