Today's post has something a little different from me. Cards! Some of the elements and the cut apart card sheet were begging to be used to make cards. Not my usual thing but I really like how these came out.
These were so easy to put together. They are both ?x? and fit into basic card envelopes. A few layers of some of the cut apart card sheet, stickers, washi and elements were just right.

Thank you for having a look at my project today and I hope I have inspired you to step outside your comfort zone to create something different.
Today I am sharing a layout of my little girl from a food festival we went to in October. We actually stumbled on it while we were out exploring Fayetteville, NC. Of course the highlight of the trip was the facepaint. She chose a kitty face. haha
I absolutely love the Pink Paislee Cedar Lane bits in this kit. So perfectly pretty with just the right amount of pink for my girly pages. The polka dot washi was just what I needed to balance it out.

The weather has started to get cold where we are and lately I have found myself digging through photos of warmer times to keep warm. I happened across this photo from April 2012 while I was planning pages with my October kits. It was perfect. The light and the colors fit perfectly with the pink, green and yellow here.

I love that all the pink in this kit worked so well for me on this page. Even though it is actually a photo that focuses on my son. Sorry child.
p.s. Don't be afraid to use girly colors and elements on boy pages. Sometimes it just works.
Hello everyone! I have a minimal 8 1/2 by 11 layout for you.
From the second I opened this kit I knew I was going to need to use it as a full background. I didn't want to take away from the paper too much so I just made a nice minimally scrapped page. This is actually one of my favorite ways to create pages.
I loved the alphas that came with the main scrapbook kit this time as well. That larger scripty word set is so fun. It was fun to put it on the page in a little bit up a scrunched up shape. Almost as though it was hand written.
With all the different colors and patterns I had going on I wanted to keep the photo from getting lost on the page. The original photo had all different shades of pink with that blown out background. It sort of blended into the pinks and the green vellum. Making it black and white helped it to pop. Adding a white and gold frame draws your eye right to it.
Thank you for stopping by to have a look! Have a lovely day!
Good morning friends! Today I am sharing my layout that was used for the reveal. I loved all of the little bits that came with this kit. The best part are those amazing alpha. I actually planned this entire page based on the placement of the words at the top of the page. These are just so fun.
Of course the photos of my little munchkin in her wolf hat had to be scrapped all in a row, too. Her sweet chubby cheeks in the glow of my studio light we too much to resist. She sat on my desk and told me stories while I snapped away. I want to write a book all about her little wolf and her bear.
Oh and I have a fun little tip for you. You know those paper pads that have the coordinating pattern on the little strip on the top where you tear it? I sometimes leave the strip on and use it to add a little more interest to my page. Can you find it here?
Thank you for stopping by! I would love to hear of any little tips that you have. Unexpected things that you use on you pages. Have a lovely day!
Good morning! Brenda here with my last layout with this months main scrapbook kit. I think this one was my absolute favorite. The Crate "Bright" paper was perfect for cutting out my title. Honestly, the first time I saw that paper I knew exactly what I was going to do with it.
Don't you just love those gold alphas, too? They are so fun and add the right amount of funky to the page. Basically they fit my little girl to a "t".
Thank you for stopping by to have a look! Hope you have a fantabulous day.
