Hey everyone, Jen here today to share a layout I created using the August Everyday Liife kit for my wedding album. I loved the gold accents that were in this months kit and pulled my favourites out as soon as I opened the kit to set aside for a wedding layout. For my wedding album I really want to focus on the photos and so try hard to keep everything simple which can be a struggle for me at times. I was a bit nervous about using the blue as it is not a colour I was ever intending to introduce into my album but it is soft enough that I think it really works and I am happy that another page is done.

Hi! Ria on the blog today. I can't believe that Fall is almost here. This is my favorite time of year...I love the changes that autumn brings along with the wonderful traditions that come with this time of year. And as we are getting ready to reveal our September kits on the 1st, I wanted to share a few more projects that our design team created with the August kits.
Cathy Vee from our Everyday Life DT has a clean graphic style and it's displayed well in this pocket page layout.
Love these wood veneer words from Freckled Fawn. The scale of these is just perfect for pocket pages.
One of the most versatile embellishments has been the Heidi Swapp Glitter words...they work on both traditional layouts and pocket pages, with just the right amount of sparkle. The pack of Heidi Swapp glitter phrases can be found in our August Add-on kit, or can be purchased individually in our shop.

Hi there. It's Malika on the blog. Here is another new layout done with August’s Main Kit and Add On Kit. I really enjoyed all the patterned vellum in these kits. I love that they can be used as a layer yet, the original layer still shows through. Here I used the polka dot vellum as a mat for my pictures. I decided to go with a different shape on this layout to change things up. I used my Cameo to cut a large circle in the card stock. I used it as a frame to put my photos, title and journaling in.
I machine stitched around the circle frame. I have learned that you will never be able to stitch perfectly even around the circle…so in order to make it look good, stitch around twice! Allow the lines to cross each other. This gives the stitching a hand drawn sort of look.
The pinked circle die cut said “Our Trip Highlights” These pictures were just around home yet I wanted to use this die cut. I altered it by using the small sticker letters from the main kit and spelled the word “Summer” right over top. Now it worked for my layout. That is the beauty about scrapbooking. Make it work for you!

Hello there everyone. I wanted to share the pocket pages I made using the August Everyday Life Kit. I had a lot of fun putting the bits and pieces together to compliment my snapshots.
I was able to stretch this kit between two full pocket page spreads and two layouts, and didn't feel like anything was lacking embellishments. Gotta love that! Thanks for stopping in today. I can't wait to share what I've made with the September kits with you!
Hey everyone! Jen, here to share the layout I created using August's Everyday Life kit. I love looking for inspiration for layouts in project life cards. They are always a fab way to add a title to a layout without having to mess with alpha stickers... cuz lets be honest finding the perfect font for my layout then realising I don't have the right letters left happens way too often to me. Using cards takes the thinking and guess work out of the title and I can have a finished layout in just minutes. For this one I cut up a few different cards that were included in the kit. For the title I used one of the Echo Park capture life 4x6 cards. I loved the different fonts but it wasn't spaced out enough for me so I ended up fussy cutting it out then sticking it down. The layers at the bottom are made from cutting random patterns and bits from other cards in the kit. Don't be afraid to cut into those cards!
Thanks for visiting the blog today.
Hello! Jennifer here today to show you my layout I created using this month's kits and sketch! I loved creating with the bright pinks and blues in the patterned papers! When I saw the sketch, I knew I wanted to do a fun "beachy" theme page from a recent girls trip to the Ozarks!
For my page, I let my journaling take up most of the space under my photo and opted to add some sequins from my stash to the white spaces.
I mixed in the Webster's Pages Ocean Melody mini alphas into my journaling. They helped make the words "pop" out! I also added an arrow from the Pink Paislee Solstice Gold Foam Sticker pack.
For my title, I used one of the Heidi Swapp Glitter Word and Phrase Stickers from the August Add-On kit.
Also from the Add-On Kit are these Heidi Swapp Layered Butterfly Paper Clips! They are so cute added to the top of your photo. I also added a couple bits of the Solstice Ephemera pack!
Now let's see what you do with the August sketch! Add a link in the comments section with your layout or upload your layout to our Gallery HERE for a chance to win a $10 GC to Paper Camellia Shop. Winner will be picked at random from all entries through August 28th.
Have a great day!
