Hi Aimee on the blog today. Here is another one of those papers I wanted to frame as is. It was hard putting permanently down on it. But then I found that quote in the Silhouette store and knew what I wanted to do. Using 6 2x2 photos from different trips I mated then with some creamy yellow cardstock. All the Fancy Pants Die cuts were so fun, I had a hard time choosing just one to use, so I used a bunch. This was out of my comfort zone,  but I truly love what I created here.

Hi everyone, Amy here to share with you my take on Kristine's amazing sketch for April. I have to say, I adore all of her sketches, but this one was really easy for me to work with. Here's the sketch if you need a reminder.

Here's what I came up with.

I loved the grid design, and used my photos at the top along with the title, which I balanced out with the silhouette die cut that I created and my journaling.

You should play along with our sketch challenge this month. If you do, you'll be entered to win a $10 gift card to the Paper Camellia shop, YAY! You have until April 27th to post your layout in our gallery HERE.

Hi There!

Black and cream stripes. Teal, pink and yellow. Could this card not be any cuter?

Going for simplicity, I grabbed a tag and stitched the “hi” paper clip to it. I first cut the “clip” part off and stitched away. Some enamel dots {that are to die for} and teal alphas make up this fun little greeting that’s perfect for any teen. Simple, Fun & Cute. It doesn’t get much better than that!

Happy Snapshots

Hi! Ria on the blog today with another fun layout from Becki Adams. Becki used the wood grain paper form our April Main kit for her background. This paper is so versatile and makes anything you add to it pop.

I just love the layers of cameras from the Fancy Pants ephemera pack and the gold accents in the title. The journaling "Frame" brings it all together.

Big Win!

Hello Paper Camellia fans! It is Malika on the blog today. I am playing along with Kristine's April sketch. I stuck very close to the layout of the sketch this time, but to jazz things up, I decided to fill the big 6x6 block up with a bunch of patterned paper triangles.

I took some 2x2 squares and then cut them on the diagonal. From here I mixed and matched them up and made a mosaic to fill the space. I like the combination of light and dark patterns... stripes, dots and diagonals all together. Plus, I have to say, the colors look great with the hockey uniforms in the picture!

There are still a few days to enter our Sketch Challenge for a chance to win $10.00 toward your next  Paper Camellia purchase. Upload your layout on our Community Gallery HERE. Until next time...

HI everyone! We have a layout by Becki Adams using both the April Main kit and the "Boy Oh Boy" add-on kit on the blog today.

I love how Becki layered the patterns from the Boys Rule 6x6 paper pad by Crate Paper and unified the patterns by stitching along the edges, and completed the page by stitching a "frame" all around.

A  card tucked in behind the photo makes for a design element and a perfect spot for some hidden journaling.

Happy Friday! We have another fun project from our April guest designer, Jennifer Haggerty. I love how Jennifer made the embellishments from the April kits really shine in this layout.

I just love the library pockets in this month's kit! They are so versatile. Not only are they a great layer, but a perfect place for some hidden journaling.

Thank you for visiting the blog today!
