Hey there. Elizabeth here with my final Paper Camellia blog post. I'm so sorry to see PC go, so I decided to finish big. These huge gold Crate Paper letters rock my world. I wanted them to be the showcase of a couple of projects. Here's what I came up with...
Raise your hand if you're obsessed with this triangle patterned paper! I cut it up and pieced it back together allowing enough room for stitching in between.
Big letters + a long word means a small photo is in order...
It was awesome being on the Paper Camellia design team. I loved seeing all of your projects in the gallery, and your creativity with the kits. Hopefully I'll see you all around the scrapbooking community!
Hello friends! Jennifer here to share another layout I created with the December Main Kit! This kit has many papers and embellishments from Maggie Holmes' Shine collection which is one of my favorites! I am loving the fun colors of this kit!
I used one of the Shine Glitter Word Thickers for my title. I also added a cute gold pennant sticker also from Shine.
One of the best embellishments of this kit is the full package of wood veneer shapes/words from Shine! I used this cute wood frame with patterned paper and more stickers from Crate Paper! Also included in the kit is a full sheet of letter stickers from Elle's Studio!
I used a cut file from The Cut Shoppe and backed each row with different patterns from the kit. Also you can see more of the cute stickers from Shine, as well as another wood veneer shape.
The 6x12 sheet of Shine stickers have much to choose from! I am loving the pennant stickers as well as the many sentiments!
Thank you for stopping by today! It's been an honor to design for Paper Camellia! I am going to to truly miss these great kits!
Hey everyone, when I saw the sketch for this month I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. The large letters were the perfect touch for my sweet boy's LARGE personality. Here's the layout I created.
Here are some closeups. Again, Ria picked the perfect embellishments for this great kit.
The embellishments really make the page, don't they? Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today!
Hello! Hope you are enjoying what our team has done with our December kit so far! The Main kit has lots of Maggie Holmes' new Shine collection as well as Amy Tangerine's Finders Keepers! The colors go so well together!
You receive an entire pack of Shine Wood Veneer Phrases and Shapes! I used one as my title; I think they are so cute! I also added some of the triangle shaped Shine stickers and gold glitter Thickers.
Also in the Main Kit are these cute Mint Elle's Studio Letter Stickers! I layered them with stickers from the Shine collection and stitched through with my sewing machine.
How cute are these Shine pennant stickers? I layered two of them under my photo as well as added some mini washi tape from my stash.
You can spy some of the Gold Heart Vellum underneath my patterned paper! You receive a 12x12 sheet in your kit! I added more of the triangle stickers and Thickers as well as a wood veneer star from the Shine collection.
Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to check out the Paper Camellia shop to see this month's kits plus much more! Have a great day!
Hello friends and happy Saturday! Today I'm sharing a layout I created using November's Main and Embellishment Add-On Kits! There is so much loveliness in all of this month's kits! Goodies from Pink Paislee, Dear Lizzy, and Pebbles are included, as well as Paper Camellia Exclusives!
The Embellishment Add On kit includes these fun Glitter Phrase Stickers from Dear Lizzy's Documentary collection! There is many to choose from to create a title for your page!
I used my pennant hand punch to create a pattern at the top and bottom of my page using papers from Pink Paislee Cedar Lane and Jen Hadfield Pebbles. You can also spy one of the Thankful Stickers and Cork Shapes from Elle's Studio that are included in the Embellishment Add On Kit.
One of the many great reasons why Paper Camellia kits rock is that there are so many embellishment options! I love the cute fox Epoxy Shape and Wood Arrows from Cedar Lane; both are included in the Main Kit!
Thank you for stopping by the blog today! Check out this month's kits as well as be on the lookout for December kit sneaks! Have a great weekend!
You may have noticed that there's a fun piece of American Crafts velum in this months kit. Have you ever printed a photo right onto the paper? This is a first for me and I love the way it looks layered on the page.
As you can see I rolled the top portion and then sewed it into place. Sewing is a great replacement for adhesive. Now there's no sticky-ness showing through the photo.
Are you doing anything fun with your velum? There are so many possibilities! I hope you have a scrappy weekend!
Hello everyone! I have a minimal 8 1/2 by 11 layout for you.
From the second I opened this kit I knew I was going to need to use it as a full background. I didn't want to take away from the paper too much so I just made a nice minimally scrapped page. This is actually one of my favorite ways to create pages.
I loved the alphas that came with the main scrapbook kit this time as well. That larger scripty word set is so fun. It was fun to put it on the page in a little bit up a scrunched up shape. Almost as though it was hand written.
With all the different colors and patterns I had going on I wanted to keep the photo from getting lost on the page. The original photo had all different shades of pink with that blown out background. It sort of blended into the pinks and the green vellum. Making it black and white helped it to pop. Adding a white and gold frame draws your eye right to it.
Thank you for stopping by to have a look! Have a lovely day!
