Today I am sharing a layout of my little girl from a food festival we went to in October. We actually stumbled on it while we were out exploring Fayetteville, NC. Of course the highlight of the trip was the facepaint. She chose a kitty face. haha
I absolutely love the Pink Paislee Cedar Lane bits in this kit. So perfectly pretty with just the right amount of pink for my girly pages. The polka dot washi was just what I needed to balance it out.

Thank you for stopping by to have a look at my page. Have a lovely day.
The weather has started to get cold where we are and lately I have found myself digging through photos of warmer times to keep warm. I happened across this photo from April 2012 while I was planning pages with my October kits. It was perfect. The light and the colors fit perfectly with the pink, green and yellow here.

I love that all the pink in this kit worked so well for me on this page. Even though it is actually a photo that focuses on my son. Sorry child.
p.s. Don't be afraid to use girly colors and elements on boy pages. Sometimes it just works.
Hello everyone! I have a minimal 8 1/2 by 11 layout for you.
From the second I opened this kit I knew I was going to need to use it as a full background. I didn't want to take away from the paper too much so I just made a nice minimally scrapped page. This is actually one of my favorite ways to create pages.
I loved the alphas that came with the main scrapbook kit this time as well. That larger scripty word set is so fun. It was fun to put it on the page in a little bit up a scrunched up shape. Almost as though it was hand written.
With all the different colors and patterns I had going on I wanted to keep the photo from getting lost on the page. The original photo had all different shades of pink with that blown out background. It sort of blended into the pinks and the green vellum. Making it black and white helped it to pop. Adding a white and gold frame draws your eye right to it.
Thank you for stopping by to have a look! Have a lovely day!
Good morning! Brenda here with my last layout with this months main scrapbook kit. I think this one was my absolute favorite. The Crate "Bright" paper was perfect for cutting out my title. Honestly, the first time I saw that paper I knew exactly what I was going to do with it.
Don't you just love those gold alphas, too? They are so fun and add the right amount of funky to the page. Basically they fit my little girl to a "t".
Thank you for stopping by to have a look! Hope you have a fantabulous day.
For this post today I thought I would share with you not only an Everyday Life page but also a layout made with the Every Day Life kit. I love using kits in ways that they were not intended. It's my rebellious side. *snicker
First up is the EL page.
This is more of February. I was celebrating the returned love of making homemade (decaf) lattes in the afternoon and my new shirt. I kinda have a thing for Thor.
Next up is my layout. I love a clean graphic style with a little fun stitching. These cards are perfect for this. The graphic style of the cards works well with the bright photo and flowers in the Heidi Swapp cards goodies in this kit.
Thanks for stopping to have a look at my pages and have a lovely day.
